USS Park Sutter & Litchfield County Reunion Information |
|
Gentlemen, The reunion of the former crew members of the USS Park County (LST-1077), the USS Litchfield County (LST-901) and the USS Sutter County (LST-1150) will take place July 9th thru July 11th of 2009, with events in Evansville and Indianapolis, Indiana. You are welcome to attend all three days, or only the day or days or events you desire. On Thursday, July 9th, we will tour LST-325, which is located in Evansville, Indiana. We will depart Indianapolis by car pool at 8:00AM for Evansville, with others joining the group in Evansville. The trip to Evansville takes four hours, so this will be a full day event. Lunch, dinner and the cost to tour the 325 will be at your own expense. I have toured the ship and believe that you may find the visit worthwhile. Additional details regarding the 325 can be found at www.lstmemorial.org. Below is our schedule for the day. Thursday, July 9th
For those driving to the reunion who wish to join us at Stoll's County Inn for lunch, or at LST 325 in Evansville, please feel free to do so. The only request I have is that you let me know in advance so that I can assure the restaurants are prepared to serve our group. Just email me at m.w.kempf@sbcglobal.net, or call me at 317 490-4229. Friday, July 10th, 9 AM: Reunion Hospitality Suite, Indpls Hilton 120 West Market Street, Indianapolis opens. The Hospitality Suite will be available for your use to meet and renew old friendships and to make new ones throughout the reunion. In addition to our scheduled events, Indianapolis offers a wide range of museums, a downtown shopping mall, the NCAA Headquarters, major sports venues, the Indianapolis Zoo and the Indianapolis 500 Track and Museum, to name a few. An overview of these venues can be seen at: indy-info.html.
Saturday, July 11th, 9:00 AM: Hospitality Suite opens for the day.
So, if I plan to attend, how do I proceed?
